Communication Analyst at Foureyes
From September 2020 to December 2020, I worked for Foureyes, a software company based around it’s sales intelligence software that helps business track, engage, protect, and sell better. Foureyes was named the 10th fastest-growing private company in Oregon by the Portland Business Journal in 2020.
As a Communication Analyst, I focused primarily on bottom-of-the-funnel marketing, analyzing and taking notes on customer-to-business interaction through our software in order to provide our clients with an efficient tool to convert customer leads. This position gave me great experience learning how to communicate and perform in a rapidly growing, fast-paced company.
In the Summer of 2020 I came across a unique opportunity to be a part of a start-up business. Project OTY is a fast-growing personal development and wellness company out of Beaverton, Oregon. The company is centered around a curriculum that is focused on inspiring next-generation leaders to identify their unique strengths, reflect on their past experiences, and consider their vision for their future in order to create a plan that they can follow moving forward.
Throughout the summer, I worked on a variety of different projects with Jeff. One of our first goals was to improve the Project OTY’s Build Your Roadmap curriculum and also expand its reach of college students. I assembled multiple test groups of students to go through the curriculum and offer their feedback on it. These students gave us great ideas for improving the curriculum as well as valuable testimonials.
Another project we worked on was transitioning the Build Your Roadmap curriculum from workbook form to online form. When I started working with Jeff, the curriculum was only in workbook form. I helped him transition it to an online interactive course through a software platform called Thinkific.
One of Jeff’s main goals when I began working with him was to secure a large investment from an “Angel Investor” to fund a high-quality, customized website application, as well as to hire employees. After a summer of big strides on all fronts, we finally secured a large investment from an angel investor in the Fall of 2020. As of today, a highly developed and advanced website application has been created, there are thousands of high-school students currently going through the curriculum, Jeff has hired multiple full-time employees, and he is in talks with multiple universities and businesses about selling them the curriculum for their students and employees to go through.
Brand Strategist Intern at Project OTY
GA4, Google Ads Certified
In addition to my existing experience working in Google Ads and GA4, I took certification classes for both tools to prove my knowledge.
Cole's Sports Camp
When I was 13 years old, I founded Cole’s Sports Camp, an all-sports summer camp that I ran at my house in Portland. The first year, I held one week of the camp. Over the next six years, I grew the camp to 3 weeks each summer with 12-13 per week. I had an organized email marketing campaign that I rolled out at the start of each spring. I hired friends as assistant counselors to help me each week, brought in special guests such as my varsity basketball coach, and gave out Cole’s Sports Camp T-Shirts to every kid each week. It was my first experience starting my own business, and I learned a lot running it over the years. Two years ago, I passed the camp on to a younger high-schooler in the neighborhood who continues to run it today.
